I am currently on the lookout for a Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join a well-immersed Architectural Practice. This RIBA Chartered practice is based in Westbury, Wiltshire. They also obtain a brand-new office in Cardiff, due to this business expansion, they are recruiting for a Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join their original office in Wiltshire.

This vibrant Architectural practice offers a complete architectural service for all clients in a variety of different sectors. Obtaining a growing portfolio, they are seeking to hire a Part 2 Architectural Assistant that is eager to get stuck into projects from residential, education, leisure, charities, to hospitality and commercial sectors.

Currently, this Architectural business has 6 members of staff, however, looking to expand this number to 10 by the end of 2021. They utilise AutoCAD and Revit as their main software, therefore, the ideal candidate will have experience in these two applications.

As a Part 2 Architectural Assistant, you will receive financial support and mentoring support in completing your Part 3. As well as this, the Director of this practice will have the strong wish to work closely with you, proving their desire to invest in their staff and helping you with securing your Part 3 qualification – providing the successful candidate with the correct projects to work on (the chance to run and manage your own small projects).

The role: Part 2 Architectural Assistant

* Part 2 qualified, with hopeful plans to continue with their Part 3.

* The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in an Architectural Practice.

* Knowledge and experience in utilising AutoCAD and Revit to be able to produce designs and plans.

* Desire to work on a variety of projects, from commercial, education and residential projects.

* Chance to run and manage your own small-scale projects.

* Ability to produce and explain the portfolio of your previous work from work placements and university.

* Knowledge of RIBA Stages.

* Ability to confidently liaise with clients and other business professionals.

The salary for this position is £24K – £28K.
