Architect – Heritage / Conservation

Salary : £35000 – £40000/annum
Outstanding Architect opportunity available to join the Heritage and Conservation team of an esteemed Multi-Disciplinary RIBA Chartered Architectural Practice based in either their central Leeds or Skipton Studio with the option of agile remote working also.
Exclusively available through Conrad Consulting we have quite a unique opportunity for an Architect to hone their talents working on a variety of Heritage type projects. Typically, these are Grade ll listed buildings that are either going through extensive renovation & refurbishments or are in the process of adding extensions in the forms of garden rooms, orangeries or increasing the living space, many of these extensions are contemporary in their nature but due to their listed status are not always easy to achieve.
The Practice you will be joining are fortunate to boast a truly diverse portfolio of project work across multiple sectors and are on a very sound financial footing, the business has a really excellent reputation, very low staff turnover and they invest heavily in their people. They support CPD have a busy social scene and provide a superb platform for talent, no glass ceiling here for progression.
Casing point is the Heritage team which was set up from scratch a little over two years ago, this has proved to be a huge success with this slated hire their fourth new addition in the team
Reporting to the Senior Conservation Architect they are ideally seeking a fully qualified ARB / RIBA affiliated projected Architect with at least 2-5 years' experience who has either previous Heritage / conservation / Listed Buildings experience within their portfolio, or they have a genuine interest / passion to work in this sector.
The Heritage Architect will be required to have the following –
Excellent design and presentation skills
Good Revit, AutoCAD and Photoshop skills
Job running & site based experience on live projects
Sound understanding of UK building and planning regulations.
Responsible and capable of working independently
Confident in client liaison and interaction with end users / clients.
Good technical and administrative skills
Previous experience of working on some Heritage type projects.
Keen for career advancement
A person of good character and a Team player.
Fully qualified ARB / RIBA affiliated project Architect with at least 2-5 years practice experience.
Salary depending on experience and suitability £35,000 – £40,000 per annum + generous benefits package and agile / flexible working.
