Design Technology Teacher
Job Type : Temporary, Full Time
Salary : £120 – £180/day
Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our fantastic SEN provisions in Bedale (DL8), North Yorkshire who are seeking a full time DT Teacher to work with children with a variety of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). This would be due to start on 06 Septemeber 2022.
Teaching Personnel can offer competitive rates of pay of GBP120- GBP180 per day depending on experience as well as the opportunity to up skill your professional development by utilising our CPD Academy. You will also be supported by our specialist SEND Team who all come from backgrounds in education and knowledge of the current market.
The ideal candidate will:
Requirements
DT Teacher's with experience in teaching either KS3/KS4 or both
NQT’s and Experienced teachers welcome to apply
Strong subject knowledge
Ability to create engaging and encouraging lessons
Be confident in a SEND school and challenging setting
Have a nurturing and patient manner
Willingness to undertake further training
Experience teaching pupils with ASC, ADHD, VI, MLD, PMLD and other disabilities
Desired
Team Teach
ASC experience
Experience supporting individuals from vulnerable backgrounds

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
