Junior/Intermediate Architectural Techincian
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £23000 – £35000/annum
Excellent opportunity for an aspiring, motivated Architectural Technician to join a lovely, small studio near Wilmslow, Cheshire.
Our client are a small, Design & planning consultancy with a particular specialism in the development of Residential and agricultural buildings rural Cheshire. Their projects can range from a small Residential extension to an entire new-build housing development or even buildings associated with farming and agriculture. They have specialised in what they do for over 15 years and have built an expert team of Design & planning consultants to help deliver their work across the region.
Their current team is between 5-10 members of staff. They have plans to expand over the coming 12-18 month period and their first strategic hire in this process would be an Architectural Technician. Ideally this person would have a minimum 1-year of practical experience and experience working on Residential projects. The company primarily use AutoCAD and Sketchup software so experience in that area would also be beneficial.
The criteria we are looking for this candidate to meet include the following:
Architectural Degree Qualification is preferred.
Between 1-5 years practical experience. More would be considered too.
Previous experience using AutoCAD & Sketchup software.
Good understanding of UK building regulations and UK planning regulations.
Excellent communication skills (Written, Verbal, Presentation).
This office offer a very flexible and modern approach to office working. If you want to be in the office 5-days a week you're welcome to do so. If you'd rather do 2 or 3 days from home that's fine too.
