Are you a CAD Designer or similar who is proficient in AutoCAD looking to take the next step in your career as a lead CAD Designer in an autonomous role where you will Design a varied product range and oversee the department for a creative, innovative, and rapidly expanding furniture Manufacturer?
This company design a range of seating for clients across varied sectors including Office, Education, Hospitality and Retail. Having continually built their loyal client base have built an excellent reputation in the industry and now need a new AutoCAD Designer to join their growing team.
This is an office-based role with the opportunity for flexible working in the future, where you will be pivotal in the company's success as you produce varied AutoCAD 3D designs and liaising with customers to their interpret needs, produce layouts and prepare brief proposals. You will also be responsible for overseeing the tight knit CAD Design team and liaise closely withs senior management.
This role would suit an aspirational AutoCAD Designer who has excellent communication skills with a passion of being a team leader, looking to progress their career at a corporation that are known for looking after their employees.
THE ROLE:
* Designing seating and other furniture for existing and new product ranges.
* Producing realistic, 3D CAD render images for proposals and web site marketing,
* Liaising with Senior Leadership and customers to interpret needs/plans, produce layouts and prepare general, brief proposals,
THE PERSON:
* Proficient in AutoCAD (2D and 3D) and Sketchup
* Product design background.
* Looking to step up as a Lead Designer
* Commutable to St. Albans
