Urban Designer
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £35000 – £45000/annum Commensurate with Experience
Dawson Levy are pleased to be working on behalf of one of the UK's leading Architectural practices in their current search for an Urban Designer to join them in their offices in Central London. This is an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious and experienced Urban Designer to take a step up in their career with a practice that is able to offer genuine career development whilst working on some of the latest regeneration schemes and urban residential master planning projects across the UK. In order to be successful in this application you must be Masters qualified in a relevant field and should have a minimum of 2 years' experience in Urban design / Master planning for large scale Residential projects or regeneration schemes. You must be a fully proficient user of Revit and AutoCad, SketchUp and Adobe Suite, especially Photoshop and InDesign. You should have a good technical understanding of Urban Design practices as well as UK planning policy. It would be ideal if have strong communication and interpersonal skills with good presentation ability as well.
Requirements:
Masters Qualified in relevant field (Or Equivalent – Urban Design, Architecture, etc.)
A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
Fully proficient user of AutoCad, Revit, Photoshop, InDesign and SketchUp
Proven experience in residential urban planning/Masterplanning projects
A high-quality portfolio of completed projects
Strong understanding of urban design practices and relevant UK planning policy
Excellent Communication ability & Interpersonal skills
