Conrad Consulting are delighted to be working with one of Nottingham's most prominent Architectural practices, seeking a creative and ambitious Architect to join their office in the city centre.
The Practice
The practice are nearing on their 30 year anniversary, in which time they have developed from a small, one man band, all the way through to now being one of the most established architectural practices in Nottinghamshire. With a team of around 30 members of staff made up of talented and experienced Architects, Technologists, Assistants and Interior Designers, the practice offer and deliver award-winning projects and services across a number of different sectors.
Project types tend to range in value from the small scale £250k, through to the large scale £50m+ region, spanning across a range of sectors including; Education, Commercial, Residential, Student Accommodation, Extra Care and more. As an Architect, you will be presented with the opportunity to work on a diverse project portfolio, allowing you to develop further in your career.
The Role – Architect
The role on offer within this practice is for an Architect with approximately 3+ years of post qualification experience, ideally an Architect that is accustomed to working on a range of sectors and project types, with a particular focus on the Residential sector.
This is an opportunity for you as an Architect to really showcase your design flair. The role will emphasise on the early stages of the RIBA cycle of work, predominantly within stages 1-4. Delivery end experience will be looked upon favourably, but isn't necessarily essential to this position.
As an Architect, you will be working both autonomously and as part of a team so you must be comfortable in both settings.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills Required
Fully qualified Architect with UK recognised Part 1, 2 and 3 qualifications.
ARB registration
At least 3 years of post qualification experience, ideally having focused heavily on the Residential sector.
Passion for design and ability to showcase that design flair in the early RIBA stages.
Proficiency in the use of Revit, SketchUp, AutoCAD and the Adobe Suite.
Strong communicative skills, both written and verbal.
Eligibility to work within the UK is essential
In return, you will be offered a competitive salary and benefits package dependant on experience, likely to be in the region of £35,000-£42,000 per annum.
