Location – Cheltenham
Salary – Dependent on experience £23,000 – £30,000
Digital Designer, for our client a unique quirky business who look for candidates with exceptional creative flair within graphic and digital design.
As a collaborative Digital Designer you will will sit on design team and also work alongside the digital marketing team.
The digital designer will be responsible for:
* Responsible for creative elements related to web design, marketing tools, digital product elements, company, social media channels and global screen content
* Working closely with digital marketing and systems team
* Maintain brand continuity across all digital projects, assets, and platforms
* Actively being aware of all areas of design across packaging, print and pattern
All digital touchpoints, including:
* Creating animated how-to / promotional videos using After Effects.
* Weekly trade emails.
* Monthly B2C campaigns including email design, corresponding homepage banners, social media promo assets.
* Thinking of innovate ways to improve the website.
* Maintain the trade and hub websites, including banners, landing pages, assets for the websites etc.
* Create branded web-apps to create a fun and interactive user experience. Starting from wireframe, to design, to amends, to exporting static and animated assets.
* Creating various website designs, including amending user journey.
* Liaise with different area of the business, including prod dev, design, marketing, systems.
* Using google analytics, to view feedback from digital sites to make future decisions.
The successful Digital Designer will have the following experience and skills:
* Experience in a Digital Design role.
* Keen interest in photography and video creation and editing
* Overall knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite After Effects – Particularly motion graphics and video editing
* Adobe Creative Suite Software (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) – Experience creating static assets, gifs, retouching artwork
* Ability to react quickly and efficiently to last minute briefs on tight deadlines
* Strong attention to design detail
* Proactive, focussed and driven, committed and hardworking
Proficient in the use of:
Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Adobe XD, InDesign, Sketch Up (for trade stands)
