Want to join one of the best gaming studios around? They aim to bring players an adventure that celebrates the wonder and mystery of nature in a magical world. We're searching for fellow explorers, dreamers and magic-makers who share the desire and want to be part of Rare's latest, out of this world game.
This is a Game Design role, so bring us your creativity and desire to craft and they'll give you the chance to test and grow your skills in a team that cares deeply about their game.
What we're looking for:
* A strong working understanding of Unreal Engine 4 and Blueprint
* Experience working on released titles
* A varied portfolio of different games and styles
* A full tool kit. We need hands-on builders, those that can roll up their sleeves and get stuck in. Experience of mechanics and using game-creation tools is vital.
* A vivid imagination, brimming with ideas that you can take from conception, through prototyping and into production. * Plenty of blank paper and pens. We're drawing new maps, not following old ones. You must be self-motivated to stride confidently into the unknown.
* Problem solving in preparation for not knowing what's over the horizon. Creating new experiences means tackling challenges that you may not have encountered before.
* A very open mind, a listening ear and a considered voice.
Contract details:
* Remote/Hybrid working
* Initial 18 month contract (with options for perm)
* Salary £30,000-£40,000 Per Annum (with flex)
