An ideal position for an Architectural Technician that would like to be heavily involved in the Residential sector, working with well known housebuilders and developers throughout the UK in this multi-disciplinary consultancy based in Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands.

THE COMPANY:

As an Architectural Technician you will be joining a large scale multi-disciplinary consultancy, based in Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands. The company is made up of a wide variety of disciplines, which includes; Architecture, Urban Design, Planning, Surveying, Project Management, Landscape Architecture, Interior Design and more.

As a whole, the company work in a broad range of sectors and project types, touching on; Residential, Commercial, Mixed Use, Healthcare, Education and more. The dedicated Architectural team in Sutton Coldfield tend to focus predominantly on the Residential sector, working with some of the top Developer & Housebuilder names throughout the UK.

Work in the Residential sector includes everything from one off new builds, through to multi unit developments and high rise residential property. The practice are looking to hire an Architectural Technician to continue their successful period of growth, an Architectural Technician that would ideally be in the "intermediate" category.

THE POSITION – ARCHITECTURAL TECHNICIAN:

This is an outstanding opportunity for an Architectural Technician to join a leading multi-disciplinary practice, focusing predominantly on the Residential sector. The ideal candidate will hold somewhere in the region of 3-7 years of industry experience, essentially within the "intermediate" kind of category level.

As an Architectural Technician you will be working alongside vastly experienced Technicians and Technologists that will assist you in developing further in your career. It would be ideal for you to have worked within the Residential sector, although it isn't necessarily an essential requirement. The practice use AutoCAD primarily, and are gradually introducing Revit to the office. AutoCAD proficiency is therefore high on the list of required criteria for the role.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS – ARCHITECTURAL TECHNICIAN:

A degree in Architectural Technology or a HNC/HND in a related field.
At least 3 years of industry experience, ideally within a private practice or housebuilder environment.
A demonstrable background of working in the Residential sector. Experience of working in a housebuilder/developer would be ideal.
Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD (essential) & Revit (desirable)
