Our client is an International moving, shipping, storage, and logistics company with offices in the UK, France, the USA & UAE.
The Private Client Services department is responsible for providing a smooth and efficient moving service to all private, storage and inter-Company clients.
As a Sales Consultant, you will be expected to provide a first-class service to all private moving clients through prompt communication, identifying and recording client’s needs, upselling services and securing maximum profitability for the company.
The role:
* This is a people orientated role, requiring the highest standards of customer service.
* Acting as first point of contact for all clients including UK, European, International, Corporate and Trade
* Identify and maximise opportunities to sell key services through a pro-active approach
* Build productive long-term relationships with new and existing clients and suppliers
* Handling enquiries and translating them into sales opportunities through focused questioning and good listening and comprehension skills
* Providing accurate, detailed quotations for clients based on information obtained
* Ensuring all administration relating to sales is completed and recorded on the Company’s database
* Book moves with Operations team via the database and ensure a comprehensive handover to the Move Coordination team
* Contribute towards achieving sales targets
Skills and Qualifications:
* Good working knowledge of EU, Worldwide and UK moving practices
* Removals/Sales Coordination experience is essential
* Excellent communication, administration, and time management skills
* Strong, proven, sales and negotiating skills
* Excellent people skills and intuitive to client needs
* Customer service experience
* Good IT abilities (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
* Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy with figures for costing, pricing, and data entry
* Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
* Able to manage several different tasks and plan work to achieve deadlines set
* Ability to identify and resolve problems
