Our client is a leading manufacturer of modified vehicles. With a strong reputation for quality and a focus on design and development, the company has enjoyed continued growth despite these tough economic times.
They're now looking at growing their design team and are looking for a CAD Design Engineer who's competent in designing in SolidWorks or similar CAD packages such as: Inventor, Solid Edge, Onshape, Creo or Fusion 360.
Responsibilities, but are not limited to:
Create accurate technical drawings for their modified vehicles
Work with the wider team to understand and deliver the required elements of the design through to production
Check, modify and update existing drawings, assist in providing technical advice, product installation and manufacturing documentationSkills and experiences required:
Competent designing in SolidWorks or similar CAD packages: Inventor, Solid Edge, Onshape, Creo or Fusion 360
Working knowledge of PDM would be an advantage
Those with a background in furniture design, or similar would work well here
