Conrad Consulting are working with a multi-disciplinary practice based in Derby City Centre to secure a talented and adaptable Project Architect to join their award-winning team. This is a fantastic opportunity as the practice are continuing to enjoy high workloads and the business is sustainably growing throughout.

The company are a long standing and highly successful multi-disciplinary practice, with offices throughout the Midlands and the wider UK. Due to continued sustainable growth, the practice are looking to appoint at least one Project Architect to the team, with the potential for multiple positions being available. The practice pride themselves on promoting from within, so there is a realistic chance that the Project Architect will see themselves quickly move up through the ranks into Senior & Associate level roles.

The practice has embraced hybrid and flexible working, with most employees working 2 days in the office and the remaining 3 from home. Those who wish to work more often in the office can do, but the choice is ultimately yours. Flexible hours can be discussed also.

This opening is best suited to a Project Architect with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience, with experience in a variety of different sectors – projects are varied in this practice, with current projects placed within the Healthcare, Education, Residential, Commercial, and Leisure schemes.

Further Requirements of the Project Architect:

ARB/RIBA Chartered Architect
Proficient in the use of REVIT
Exceptional design capabilities
Ability to meet tight deadlines and to meet budget restrictions
Experience in a client facing role
Knowledge of current planning policies and building regulations
Enthusiastic, Driven & Committed
Excellent communication skills

The role of the Project Architect will be varied, and duties are likely to change daily. Examples of primary duties within the office will be as follows:

Designing and managing projects from inception to completion
Co-ordination of the design team
Project cost control
Control of the production of drawings to meet project requirements and deadlines

Salary offered is between £35,000 – £45,000 depending on experience, plus benefits including the following:
