Our client, a leading Fine Art Shipping & Logistics company are seeking Fine Art Handlers for their team based in Paris.
As the Fine Art Handler, you will be ensuring the safety and protection or artworks at all times. You will also be placing into and picking artworks from storage, keeping storage records up to date and collecting and delivering artworks from / to clients.
The successful Fine Art handler will have experience coordinating deliveries, art installation and de-installation; exhibitions set up, and object preparation.
This is a hands on role, so ideal candidates will come from a fine art shipper, auction house, museum or commercial art gallery setting.
Fine Art Handlers Duties:
Warehouse handling
Providing installation and de-installation services at client premises and art fairs / exhibitions
Packing and crating artworks in the warehouse and at client premises
Coordinate and manage all logistics relating to art shipping
Export Wrapping
Log and promptly report any damages
Requirements of the Fine Art Handlers:
Experience in field of art shipping and logistics.
Knowledge of packing materials and packing methods
Install and de-install skills
