Company – Established since 2002 this is one of the largest companies of its kind in the UK, having grown to over 900 employees across 22 sites in the UK and Europe, and serve a broad range of customer sectors across Europe. Products include self-adhesive labels, shrink sleeves including R.O.S.O., linerless labels, flexible packaging, artwork and design and more.

Overview -Working closely with the Artwork team to produce a wide variety of artwork for print and digital projects; visual concepts; supporting the studio manager in checking artwork from team members and monitoring quality output.

Roles & Responsibilities:
* The role will involve collaborating to ensure artwork is accurate to industry standards whilst also enhancing the design.
* You will be responsible for producing print ready retail product packaging across a wide range of artwork platforms for our clients and major UK retailers.
* Learn to create artwork for the client, following client's brand guidelines or design requirements
* Ensure artwork is achievable within print production constraints
* Prepare accurate packaging artwork from approved designs and briefs
* Ensure all quality control procedures are adhered to and all relevant documents are completed
* To ensure that all images and files are complete and ready for printing according to the printers specifications

Experience Needed:
* To generate print-ready creative layouts across a wide range of design within brand guidelines
* Deliver projects, of high quality and volume of artwork to tight deadlines – predominantly packaging and marketing literature, responding well to difficult creative and production challenges.
* Knowledge of Flexo Wide Web Film, Flexo Narrow Web Labels and Litho offset print processes a must
* A meticulous eye for detail and strong creative visualisation skills
* Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
* Advanced photoshop skillset for image retouching
* Good Office skills, competent using Mac and PC Platform (PowerPoint and Word)
* Strong understanding of layout and typography
* Aptitude to work well under pressure on a number of projects simultaneously
* Well organised and resourceful (ensuring in-house processes are followed) with consistent standards.
* Confidence to work under your own initiative as well as part of a team with good communication skills.
* Be proactive in improving skillset and studio processes
* Knowledge of reprographic rules for print and Web Asset creation, illustration skills or image retouching would be desirable.
