Senior Architectural Technician – House Builder
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £40000 – £45000/annum
Experienced Senior level Architectural Technician / Technologist required to join a premium five Star House Builder to be based from their head quarters in Doncaster.
Our client are an established Home Builder with 20 current developments across the Yorkshire and Midlands regions, they pride themselves on offering exceptional design with every individual unit unique in its build and outstanding attention to the detail.
They are now looking for an experienced Senior Architectural Technician / Technologist to join their growing in house design team, their specialist multi-disciplinary division consists of fellow Architectural Technicians and Designers and incorporates established team of Engineers and Land Acquisition professionals.
Ideally you will have worked previously on Residential Projects, this can be with experience gained either within an Architectural Practice or client side working for a developer or volume house builder.
Our client are one of a handful of House Building who are implementing REVIT software within the business, therefor alongside a good Technical knowledge and exceptional CAD skills required is someone who has some experience using REVIT with a willingness to develop this further to supplement the transitional phase to producing drawing packages solely in REVIT
Other skills and qualifications required for the Senior Architectural Technician role are as follows:-
Sound knowledge of UK Building Regs
A good understanding of UK Planning process.
Thorough understanding and working experience of AutoCAD and some exposure to REVIT
Ability to produce accurate and detailed working drawing packages.
Previous site delivery experience and demonstrable job running on projects
Experience of working on projects within the residential sector.
Desire to pursue a career within a house building.
UK driving licence
Degree qualified Architectural Technologist or HNC / HND Qualified Technician
Architectural background within either an Architects Practice or house builder / developer
Salary £40,000 – £45,000 per annum + annual car allowance (or company vehicle option) + fuel card, outstanding bonus scheme (up to 20% of salary, performance related) 26 days holiday, Generous employer pension scheme.
