Architectural Technologist – Residential Sector

Salary : £36000 – £43000/annum Bonus
An award-winning Architecture practice specialising in the Residential sector is looking to recruit an Architectural Technologist with a background operating upon large high-end dwellings to join their team based in South Oxfordshire.
With a highly experienced team of Architects and Technologists, this firm offers the full range of architectural, design & development services, tailored to their client's particular needs from project inception to completion.
Their expanding workload includes large country houses, listed buildings, affordable housing, rural exception sites, single dwellings, barn conversions, listed buildings, house remodelling, office to flat conversions, brown field redevelopments, conversation work and planning consultancy – making this an opportunity that can provide a residentially- focused Architectural Technologist with a wide variety of projects to keep the role both interesting and engaging from day-to-day.
Architectural Technologist Requirements:
A degree in Architectural Technology or equivalent
Ability to demonstrate the standards defined by CIAT
Demonstrable experience operating within the Residential sector
Excellent communication with strong written and presentation skills
Proficiency with Vectorworks would be highly desirable along with Photoshop and other 3D packages
Technical and hand drawing ability
UK driving licence
The successful Architectural Technologist can expect to receive a competitive salary, likely to be in the range of £36-£43k (dependant upon experience) plus the following fantastic benefits: Bonus, Pension, Death in Service, Wellbeing Support, Health Insurance (after 12 months), 23 days annual leave and bank holidays.
The practice is based in a converted listed building in the pretty rural village of Watlington, which is close to J6 of the M40. As there is minimal public transport and your role will include visiting clients and attending meetings throughout the South-East, you will need to have a clean valid driving license and car.
