Junior CAD Technician

We are recruiting for a Junior CAD Technician and our client will dedicate time to train and develop you even offering you the opportunity to choose additional courses that would benefit you, our client is a shopfitting company who complete HVAC, and Electrical installation as well as Shopfitting installs throughout the UK and they can offer flexibility of hours Monday 8.30am – 5pm or 8am – 4.30pm depending on your preference and you will be based in Broughton Astley
The Job
This role requires a dedicated, enthusiastic, and professional person with good time management and organisational skills, who strives for great results within a team and can operate in a fast-paced organisation, whilst demonstrating 2D CAD skills and supporting emails to clients in a professional manor.
In this role:
You will be based predominantly in the office working closely with the Contract managers to draw HVAC (heat ventilation and air conditioning) and Electrical, Preliminary / Construction / As Installed Drawings.
As well as being involved in meeting clients and measuring up a site for a planning application or racking drawings. You will have help and guidance from in house colleagues (and external training if required).
The ideal candidate will have experience working with 2D AutoCAD.
To be successful in the role as Junior CAD Technician we are looking for the following
· Proficient with Microsoft Office professional applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint.)
· Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
· Ability to communicate effectively to both Clients and work colleagues
· Excellent attention to detail
· Ability to organise and prioritise workload to meet deadlines
· Ability to work in a team environment
· CAD Knowledge
