CAD Technician
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £14200 – £24000/annum
Do you have AutoCAD or Revit knowledge gained in work or at school/college ? If so, we have a number of vacancies within a busy design agency near Halstead for CAD Planners to carry out 2D drawings using AutoCAD or Revit. The role will involve producing drawings and creating detailed design packs. Both junior's with some knowledge of CAD or more senior candidates will be considered however due to the company location you will need your own transport.
Duties
Drawing 2D existing & proposed space plans
Support Senior and Lead Planners/Designers
Creating detailed design packs
Sending and receiving data electronically
Various other admin related duties, including creation of and maintenance of Excel spreadsheets.
Skills & Experience
A knowledge of AutoCAD or Revit is preferred however training can be given
Adobe Creative suite preferred but not essential.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Good numeracy and literacy are essential skills, A levels preferable.
Candidates need to be well motivated, good team players with good communication skills and problem-solving skills.
Must be willing to learn and take on new challenges.
Driving licence preferable

Hours 8.30am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday with ½ hour lunch.
