Are you a creative thinker with exceptional front end design skills and knowledge across the entire web building process?
We're looking for a full stack Web Developer (front end focused), with excellent client-facing skills and a collaborative approach, to join our progressive marketing agency.
The Web Developer role is to build high-quality and fully performing web solutions that comply with coding standards, technical design, security guidelines, and impresses a global client base.
You'll work closely with a small team of developers to be the main front end powerhouse to drive forward and deliver quality solutions across a variety of technologies.
You will take ownership of your projects and have the opportunity to explore and drive new ways of working and practice the latest web standards and use the latest tools. You'll also benefit from great support from your creative colleagues.
You'll be an excellent communicator, bursting with ideas, and possess a drive to offer best-in-class solutions for some of the biggest names in the technology sector.
It's essential that you have evidence of taking projects from concept through to completion and can also demonstrate a thoughtful approach to web and digital solutions to be successful in this Web Developer role.
We'd like to hear from you if you have a strong capability in web development – the ability to wireframe, develop, and deploy new websites, and more. You should be able to work with a range of web tools and design media and keep up to date with emerging technologies.
We'd like to hear from you if you have the following experience:
Experience using Laravel and WordPress
Templating languages (PHP, Blade, Twig)
Responsive layout implementation
JavaScript (ideally including Vue.js)
Sass
Experience using and creating SPAs and APIs
Using modern HTML5 and CSS3 code and techniques
Version control using Git
Web animation (using CSS and/or JS)
Understanding of UX/UI, typography, colour, and accessibility

Essential Skills
Experience of working with PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, SSH, JavaScript, and Git
Understanding of writing modern PHP applications using MVC architectures and object-oriented programming
Database creation and management
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Strong time management and the ability to multi-task
An innovative, creative, proactive, and collaborative approach to web development
Project and client management experience including the end-to-end project lifecycle
Desirable Skills
Experience of working with Laravel, WordPress, Craft CMS, Twig templates, Composer, NPM, Sass, and testing frameworks
App development capabilities
Experience of working with Adobe Creative Cloud (XD)
Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision
