Design Manager (Greetings Cards) – Up to £45,000 – Watford
Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm – (Fixed Term Contract September 2022 – July 2023)
Henderson Brown is recruiting for a Design Manager on behalf of a greetings card publisher based out of Watford, Hertfordshire.
The key objective is to have experience liaising with UK supermarkets and a background in greetings cards/licensed products.
Main Responsibilities
*Contribution to the design of company products including greetings cards.
*Overseeing and in communication with freelance artists/designers.
*Co-ordinating and putting ranges together.
*Meeting with the UK's big supermarkets including Tesco, M&S, and Sainsbury's to discuss different product ranges and lead times.
*Supporting in-house designers with projects they are working on.
*Attending trade shows.
*Deliver publishing through the shared resource of the in-house studio team.
*Establish new third-party working relationships to facilitate the growth of the total business portfolio.
*Working closely with sales and production teams to ensure asset setup can be delivered to meet the needs of new publishing partners.
*Manage and support studio delivery to meet critical lead times.
The Candidate
*Previous experience as a Design/Studio Manager working with UK supermarkets.
*A background in greetings cards/licensed products.
*Able to commute to the Watford office.
*Comfortable working on a fixed-term contract.
*Experience in managing a team of designers and projects.
