Architectural Technologist – High Rise Residential

Talented Architectural Technologist required to join the London Studio of a premier AJ100 Architectural Practice situated in Central London.
You will be joining one of the very best practices in the UK who also have studios in Manchester and Leeds with a superb reputation and are responsible for landmark developments nationally and locally and feature consistently inside the coveted AJ100 register.
The successful Architectural Technologist will be joining a fast paced and design driven practice based in London, with clients ranging from charities, commercial developers & housing associations. Reporting to the Project Leader you will have the opportunity to deliver technical and detailed design packages on large scale, complex projects across multiple sectors and have the ability to work from conception to completion. A practical understanding and passion for sustainability is required, as the practice works towards the government's target of net zero carbon by 2050.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on projects with a high level of design collaboration with senior team members. The practice encourages an open design dialogue and participation amongst all our team members to create a fluid and collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will be able to take a lead in executing designs for key clients from inception to completion, reporting directly to senior management.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be able to think strategically and has the ambition, drive and ability to successfully deliver high quality, innovative design ideas with a working knowledge of High Rise residential and office design alongside the relevant guidance and specifications that underpins the successful delivery of projects.
You should be able to demonstrate the following attributes:

Resourcefulness and willingness to research and develop new ideas and solutions. Assist with Client Liaison and attend design team meetings with other professionals.
Successful delivery of projects to a high level of quality and client satisfaction.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple, tight deadlines and work on various projects concurrently.
Capable of independently producing and reviewing technical packages of information Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with an ability to carry out design concept to realisation.
Working understanding of the Planning process and Building Regulations
Essential criteria:
BSc Architectural Technology or equivalent
Software: In depth knowledge of Autodesk REVIT, Abode creative suite, Photoshop & InDesign.
A minimum of 5 years UK based experience as a fully qualified Architectural Technologist in an architectural practice
Proven experience in High rise residential / Office
A highly attractive salary would be on offer likely to be circa £45,000 per annum with an agile working module of office /home remote working plus other exciting benefit as listed below
