Art & Design Technician – £19-£21k pro rata – Part Time – Contract
Working for an independent school foundation our client is looking for an experienced and committed individual to join the Art & Design department as a technician.
The department currently offers painting and drawing, printing, graphics, sculpture, photography and ceramics through out the school and the technician is expected to provide technical maintenance and administration support across the range of disciplines, in addition the technician is expected to exercise a high degree of initiative and flexibility, always ensuring the smooth running of teaching and learning within the department.
Successful candidates will be expected to take reasonable responsibility for their own health and safety, educated to a degree level and experience of mechanical and electronic maintenance of equipment, experience of database systems, basic Excel, Word, Publisher would be a distinct advantage, experience as an Art & Design Technician, excellent written and verbal communication skills, understand safeguarding children and young people with the understanding of Equality and Diversity.
