Design Engineer
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £30000 – £35000/annum
Design Engineer required to join a well-established lighting company based in the Basildon area. The successful candidate will have experience with Solidworks and a background of working with electrical components and circuits.
Design Engineer Position Overview
To work well within a small design team
To follow products through from customer order to delivery
To communicate with customers to establish design requirements
To be competent with basic electrical wiring
Promptly address production problems as they arise
To ensure that all products are produced to the specified specifications.
To have an active role in the company's continuous improvement to sustain & achieve future growth
Design Engineer Position Requirements
Previous experience within a similar role
Must be proficient in the use of Solidworks
Good understanding of products manufactured from sheet metal
Able to create bills of material for product assemblies
Must be able to maintain high level of timekeeping
Must live within a commutable distance of Basildon
Design Engineer Position Remuneration
Full time – permanent position
Salary £30,000 – £35,000
Monday to Friday – 08:30am – 17:00pm (Overtime may be required within busy periods)
34 days holiday (including BH)
