This highly reputable company have strong links to the local Norwich region and believe in a highly collaborative approach with their clients. Focusing largely on the Residential sector, the role would see the Senior Architectural Technician take the lead on projects ranging from a single dwelling to 300+ units from planning through to technical.
With this in mind, we are ideally looking for a Senior Architectural Technician who can clearly demonstrate experience running their own projects with the ability to juggle a number of projects and client expectations at once. Typical project values range from £100k to £10million, meaning that the successful candidate will enjoy a variety of schemes to get stuck into!
Senior Architectural Technician Requirements:
Relevant Architectural qualification & CIAT registration desirable
Extensive experience within UK Architecture industry (circa 8-10 years)
Demonstrable project running ability
Experience managing projects on site
Sound knowledge of UK Building Regulations & NHBC requirements
Confidence to operate within a client-facing capacity
Ability to play a key role in the development of all design proposals for RIBA stage 0-7 and be involved in project development across all stages
An understanding of the relevant planning policy and procedures for planning application
A working knowledge of Sketch-up, InDesign and solid background in AutoCAD and ideally Photoshop
The successful Senior Architectural Technician can expect to receive a highly competitive salary, likely to be in the range of £40-£50k, plus company benefits and genuine flexible working options.
