Senior Revit Modeller

Salary : £25000 – £45000/annum
Senior Revit Modeller – required for a permanent position with my client who are based in Bristol. The company who are an Engineering consultancy with a progressive emphasis on 3D Modelling and BIM are looking for a Senior Revit Modeller work on small to medium retail, commercial and residential projects using all common building materials ranging from £1m to £25m in value.
The Senior Revit Modeller will ideal hold a HNC/ HND in a relevant subject however if they have 4+ years' experience in building structures in a similar role this will also be sufficient. The Ideal Senior Revit Modeller will have a range of project experience within the commercial and residential sector and will have previously worked within a consultancy environment. The most suitable Senior Revit Modeller will have be or have the desire to achieve EngTech Status.
Producing 3D models, existing ground levels and drainage to derive structural plans, section and details following the structural design principles established by the structural engineers. The successful candidate will be generating all the relevant drawings to the European Standards.
Having exceptional communication skills is imperative as the modeller will be leasing with Senior Structural Engineers regularly. Managing workload and being organised is essential as there will be project deadlines that will need to be met prior to the end date.
Senior Revit Modeller Position Requirements
HND / HNC in a Structural / Civil Engineering discipline
Experience in a variety of commercial, leisure and industrial projects
UK Driving Licence
Competence in drawing plans, sections details using CAD and REVIT
Competence with use of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Google e-mail and calendar; PDF.
Ability to produce hand-drawn sketches.
Awareness in the use of NBS specifications.
Experience with creating 3D models
