The Company
My client is a world leading manufacturer of specialist equipment for supply to multiple industries. They have over 100 years’ experience and a global manufacturing operation.
Due to continued growth and expansion, they have an excellent opportunity for a Assembler & Tester to assemble, test and inspect critical components.
The Role
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Assembler & Tester will also be required to use various hand tools to calibrate and carry out a detailed inspection of the components so that they can be certified as ‘fit for purpose.’
The full process involves:
* Contact cleaning
* Flash Testing
* Pre-assembly or full assembly
* Lining up & setting
* Pre-test
* Detailed inspection
* Certification
The Candidate
The Assembler & Tester appointed to this role will have experience gained within an engineering or manufacturing environment, that also includes assembly, test and calibration of either electrical or mechanical products or equipment.
Knowledge of building or repairing electro-mechanical sub-assemblies would be advantageous.
