Assistant Accountant | Telford | Permanent | C. £23000 – £28500 (Negotiable) & Benefits including flexi-time, 22 days holiday rising to 30, pension, life assurance, BUPA, and study support | Full Time (36 hours per week)
Seymour John are working in partnership with aTelford-based head office who are looking for an ambitious assistant accountant to work within their established and experienced finance team. This is a new role which has been created owing to growth.

The Role
You will play a vital role in ensuring that the right information is delivered to management to facilitate the group’s decision making. Working in a team of 8, this is a newly created role where your key outputs will include:
* Assisting in producing financial reports and budgets (monthly and quarterly)
* Reconciling control accounts
* Assisting with year end and liaising with auditors
* Maintaining and monitoring fixed asset registers
* Preparing cashflow reports ensuring appropriate balances are available
* Training non finance personnel on systems/policies/procedures
Personal Profile
As a minimum you will be working towards level 3 AAT or above and you will have at least 2 years’ relevant experience. You should be computer literate and able to use MS Excel to advanced standard (pivot tables/lookups as a minimum) We are looking for someone who is analytically minded and committed to providing solutions.
