A successful Shrewsbury-based organisation are looking for an assistant accountant to join their organisation on a permanent basis, following an internal promotion.

The Role
You will be an experienced part-qualified accountant with good Excel skills.
You will be:
* Assisting with the preparation of the month end and year end accounts pack
* Preparing monthly and weekly KPI reports
* Managing the Fixed Asset register
* Posting journals
* Completing National Statistic reports, VAT Returns and Gender Pay reporting.
* Preparing pricing schedules for tenders
* Supporting and overseeing sales and purchase ledger
* Producing ad hoc management report
* Providing cover for payroll/accounts staff
Start date ASAP.
Personal Profile
You should be computer literate and able to use MS Excel to advanced standard (pivot tables/lookups as a minimum). Payroll experience would be advantageous. Own transport is essential owing to the site’s location.
