Assistant Chef
Job Type : Temporary, Full Time
Salary : £10.42/hour
Interaction industrial are actively recruiting for a qualified Assistant Chef to join our clients reputable countryside farm located in Peterborough. This is a temporary position and you will be expected to work 5 hours per day (Monday to Thursday) between 8:30am-15:00pm & every other Sunday (9am-2pm). £10.42 per hour. Your first shift will be the 3rd of January.
Responsibilities for this role include:
· Ensuring the food preparation areas are clean and hygienic
· Washing utensils and dishes and making sure they are stored appropriately
· Sorting, storing and distributing ingredients
· Washing, peeling, chopping, cutting and cooking foodstuffs and helping to prepare salads and desserts
· Cleaning the food preparation equipment, floors and other kitchen tools or areas
· Disposing of rubbish
The successful candidate will have:
· Over 1 years experience working in a similar role.
· Must be able to drive and hold a UK driving licence
· Understand the importance of health and hygiene
· Good working stamina
· The ability to listen and learn – fast
