Exciting Opportunity for a full time assistant chef for this beautiful nursing, dementia and residential care home based bear Pulborough, West Sussex.
Key Duties for Assistant Chef
Preparing and cooking nutritious home made meals in high volume
Supervising and supporting the kitchen in their day to day work
Assisting the head chef in planning meals and liasing with residents and care staff to ensure that individual dietary needs and preferences are met
Deputising for the head chef when necessary , assuming responsibility for ordering , checking in and controlling supplies.
About you?
Previous experience in a care home or hospital or restaurant is useful
Use to delivering exceptional quality food in high volume
Staff manangement experience is desirable
Good understanding of health and safety and food hygiene is important
