Assistant Cook

Our client is looking for cooks to be able to assist the Head Cook to work in a busy kitchen.
Fixed term work February to November. 3-5 days a week (6am start).
Predominantly weekend work.
Experience in cooking in a busy, fast paced environment is favourable. You will have a basic Food Hygiene certificate and be happy with following instructions within a busy kitchen environment.
Job Role to include:
• Responsible for completion of Food Safety/Hygiene paperwork to assist Head Cook
• Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Complying with all food legislation rules and regulations including Allergens
• General cleaning duties throughout the day and end of shift
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Good communication skills and able to work within a team
• Good time keeping
• Prioritising a high volume of order tickets
• Flexible working to the needs of the business
Contract length: 10 months
Part-time hours: 20/40 per week
Contract length: 10 months
