We are currenly looking for an Assistant Manager to join our team and to provide our guests with excellent service whilst serving and preparing high quality food and drink in a clean, safe and welcoming environment.

The Assistant Manager assists the Hospitality Manager/ Store Manager in the efficient and profitable operation of a Company unit. The Assistant Manager also ensures that the unit/ store and Company standards are met at all times.

All of the above is to be performed according to the policies in effect and the specified guidelines, with the support of the Support Office in the areas of finance, HR, technical maintenance, F&B and purchasing and IT.

The opening hours and business days in effect make working in changeable shifts a requirement. In the absence the Line Manager, the Assistant Manager is responsible for the operations of the unit(s)

Operations Duties

* Ensure guests and colleagues are treated with professionalism at all times. Polite, courteous and friendly behaviour must be demonstrated towards both at all times.

* To look after the people who eat & drink with us, ensuring they are provided with the most pleasant, welcoming and clean environment; and the people that work with us, providing constant feedback and support.

* Maintain food and service quality and consistency in line with Company standards

* Uphold standards of quality, presentation and cleaning throughout the unit/ store

* Ensure that the business is effectively managed and staffed at all times to deliver efficient guest service and a profitable operation.

* Ensure landlord’s requirements are complied with at all times.

* Constantly strive for a quality operation of the unit • Ensure all equipment’s are always operated and cleaned in accordance with Company’s and manufacturer’s instructions

* Address guests concerns, requests or issues and report to your Line Manager

* Ensure the store always achieves the highest standards in cleanliness, Food Hygiene, Health and Safety. Take all necessary hygiene, safety and security measures needed to create and maintain the safest environment possible for employees and guests
