Vanta Staffing are the exclusive staffing partner to an award winning commercial bakery.
Due to growth & contract wins, they are looking to strengthen their technical & quality assurance team with an experienced Assistant Technical Manager.
The successful Assistant Technical Manager duties will include;
· Work alongside the technical & quality teams to ensure compliance to regulatory standards
· Be up to speed with current UK & EU food legislation and
· Work with internal departments, stakeholders and 3rd party organisations to ensure that products & packaging meet technical and quality standards
· Update & manage the QMS to meet BRCGS standards
· Develop & deliver training programmes and lead HACCP objective identifying areas of improvement
· lead new product development and ensure [packaging & product meet spec

Required experience & characteristics of the Assistant Technical Manager;
· At least 2years experience in with company manufacturing a similar product or category (ideally bread or bakery)
· Relevant degree, HACCP level 3
· 1st class communication skills
· Enthusiastic, positive and motivational
· Reliable & conscientious
· Courteous, polite & professional
