Assistant Underwriter
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £20000 – £26000/annum
We have partnered with a leading global insurance business in recruiting for an assistant underwriter.
You will be working with the renewals team and supporting the team in providing an excellent underwriting service. You will be required to develop and maintain good relationships both internally and externally, monitor and analyse broker activity to identify areas of improvement required. You will be responsible for renewals and mid- term queries.
Main Duties:
* Provide and maintain a good level of underwriting demonstrating detailed knowledge of company guideline.
* Providing excellent service to the broking team, prioritise renewals and mid-term adjustments.
* Ensuring that incoming calls are dealt with promptly and professionally.
* Manage renewal cases working as appropriate with the broker to secure renewal and and cross sell additional cover.
