Responsibilities within your new role
As the new Baker at this prestigious venue, your duties will encompass a range of tasks, including:
* Cleaning kitchen equipment before use and weighing ingredients
* Baking different bread types as well as adjusting oven temperatures to ensure proper baking
* Decorating cakes and creating fillings for pies and tarts
* Preparing custom-made pastries based on customers’ preferences
* Recommending recipes to renew our menu and attract more customers
Your personality, experience and qualifications
We are looking for a positive individual who can work on their own and in a team. As a Baker, you should have excellent time management skills combined with a strong attention to detail. Knowledge of professional kitchen equipment such as mixers, blenders, or dough sheeters is essential and prior experience with these tools would be advantageous but is not mandatory, as our client offers comprehensive training. Most importantly, the successful candidate should have a strong understanding of food safety practices while being able to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment.
