Responsibilities:
Prepare and bake a wide variety of confectionery items, desserts, and pastries, adhering to our recipes and quality standards.
Ensure all products are consistently baked to perfection, maintaining their taste, texture, and appearance.
Handle doughs, fillings, and toppings with precision, showcasing creativity and artistic flair in your designs.
Monitor baking equipment, making adjustments as necessary to maintain optimal performance and ensure product consistency.
Collaborate with the team to plan production schedules, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
Adhere to health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized workspace at all times.
Stay up to date with industry trends and innovations, suggesting new recipes and ideas to enhance our product offerings.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Baker, specializing in confectionary and dessert production.
Extensive knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to consistently produce high-quality products.
Creativity and artistic ability to decorate and present desserts in an appealing manner.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with the baking team.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a bakery setting.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:00 – 15:00 (with flexibility as required).
Salary: £10.42 – £12.00 per hour, depending on experience.
