BARISTA/COFFEE SHOP ASSISTANT
Warings Furniture is looking for a Full Time Baristas/Caf'e Shop Assistant to join our team in the Warings Norwich Caf'e and become an ambassador for our brand.
We are looking for enthusiastic, cheerful friendly staff with experience in barista work and food preparation. You must have an outgoing personality, be naturally helpful, flexible, reliable and approachable, with a can-do attitude. You must also be of smart appearance with excellent personal hygiene standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Barista work (Barista experience preferable, but not essential, as full training, will be given)
* Preparing food (sandwiches, paninis, etc)
* Keeping food counters and grab and go items well stocked and displayed
* Serving customers
* Cash handling, Sales register operation, (training provided )
* General housekeeping duties in Coffee Shop
* Clearing tables and keeping coffee shop area clean and tidy
ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
* Experience working to a high standard in all areas of food and beverage preparation and service
* Experience in a similar role in a coffee shop
* Ability to provide a quick and efficient service at all times
* Excellent customer service skills with a passion for delivering fantastic service
* Ability to work under pressure at peak times
* Experience in cash handling, till operation, although training will be provided.
* Excellent ability to communicate on all levels, A Team player.
* Ability to work under own initiative
* Flexible approach to shift working and prepared to work weekends and bank holidays
