A permanent bookkeeper position working for an independent SME in the Shrewsbury-area.
The Company
A well established organisation based in the Shrewsbury area and easily commutable from Telford are looking for a bookkeeper with a can-do attitude who is happy to undertake varied responsibilities.
The Opportunity
You will own the accounts process for the company and will be tasked with:
* Overseeing sales and purchase ledger processes
* Chasing outstanding payments and allocating invoices
* Completing bank reconciliations
* Producing forecasts
* Overseeing payroll
* Picking up additional responsibilities such as general admin and HR administration
Personal Profile
This is a really super role for an experienced office manager/bookkeeper. The role is varied and will be busy, yet fun. The successful candidate will have previous experience working as a bookkeeper/finance manager, overseeing sales and purchases and will ideally have experience of Sage – although not essential. Experience of payroll is desirable.
