Job Type : Contract, Full Time
Salary : £300 – £325/day
BUSINESS ANALYST WITH A FDLC BACKGROUND.
Hybrid working – 3 days in the office. Inside IR35
Business Analyst, the job holder will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Document and analyse existing business processes and workflows to identify gaps between the existing processes and solution design, and also recommende areas for improvement and optimization.
Facilitate or support requirements gathering/alignment workshops with key stakeholders, including 3rd party suppliers and managing the relevant deliverables.
Create clear and concise business requirement documents, use cases, and process flow diagrams to communicate requirements to development teams.
Collaborate with stakeholders, including management, users, and technical teams, to identify and document business needs, objectives, and functional requirements.
Work closely with solution designers, developers, architects and other 3rd party consultants to design effective solutions that align with project/business objectives.
Develop and execute test plans and cases to ensure that solutions meet business requirements and are free from defects.
Assist in change management activities, including training and communication, to ensure successful implementation and adoption of new solutions.
Perform data analysis to extract insights and support data-driven decision-making.
Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization and act as a trusted advisor on business and technology matters.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation in business processes and systems.
Person Specification:
Proven experience as a Business Analyst.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies, including process mapping.
Experience with UAT, defects resolution and supporting testers in the UAT process.
Knowledge of project management principles.
Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment.
