Salary : £11.18/hour

We are currently looking to recruit a permanent Business Support Assistant to provide a comprehensive administrative service to an Operations Team. The role provides support to the Director of Operations in delivering an effective service across the operational, HR and corporate governance functions within the organisation.
37 hours per week
The postholder will undertake a range of administrative tasks across a broad spectrum of activity.
The role
* General administration duties such as filing, photocopying and responding to email enquiries.
* Organising Board/committee meetings and preparation and distribution of papers in advance of meetings.
* Attending Board/Committee meetings and Minute taking.
* Organising and maintaining office systems such as event calendar and HR system.
* Provide administrative support using MS Office.
* Providing administrative support for policy development or project work.
* Build effective relationships with different teams within the organisation.
* Manage workload effectively and work to deadlines.
* Ensure strict confidentiality is maintained at all times.
* Always operate within GDPR policies and procedures.
* Demonstrate a commitment to our Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion policies.
* To always operate with in accordance with our Environmental Sustainability Policy.
* To attend regular staff meetings and other departmental meetings that may be arranged.
* To keep up to date with the activities of the organisation.
* Protect and promote our brand and reputation.
* Undertake additional duties as may reasonably be required.
* Attend any training that may be mutually agreed for the development of the post.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
Essential
* Experience of working in a busy office environment.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Experience of minute taking at Board level is desirable
* To perform a variety of tasks independently.
* Excellent time management and organisational skills.
* Ability to prioritise workloads and adapt to new challenges.
* Strong IT skills, including use of Word; Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Microsoft Teams.
* A flexible approach to working and the ability to work independently and on own initiative within specified guidelines or processes, and to be able to design processes to ensure effective, efficient provision of administrative support.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and able to deal with colleagues, customers and visitors at all levels with a high degree of professionalism.
* Able to work appropriately with confidential and sensitive information.
* Exceptional attention to detail and able to organise effectively
