Butcher
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £24000 – £26000/annum
We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated butcher to join our growing independent catering and wholesale butchers in Bellshill, Lanarkshire.
Established in 2020, we are a new business with great potential and big ideas, and we are looking for people to join our journey with us.
To be considered, we are looking for candidates with previous experience in butchery.
Key responsibilities
·Well-presented with a positive attitude to work including flexibility with regards to working hours (currently 5am – 1:30pm, can also be 7am – 3.30pm)
·We are looking for candidates who can work to deadlines, and have an exceptional standard of cutting and preparation of meat – this includes, boning and preparation of joints, breaking down of carcass and dicing.
·Have a keen eye and attention to detail whilst working to deadlines especially when making up catering and retail orders both for local and national dispatch
·Will be reliable and have good time management skills.
·Can work a clean and safe manner adhering to food safety
·Good knowing of HACCAP and GMP
Based at Motherwell Food Park in Bellshill, there is free parking, and working Monday to Friday. (Occasional Saturdays can be offered as non-obligatory overtime)
