We are currently recruiting butchers in Hounslow, near Heathrow Airport.
This role is Full Time, 5 days a week working different Day shifts.
The candidate:
Must be able to work well as part of a team.
Have a positive can-do attitude.
Good attention to detail.
Be able to adapt from task to task.
This is a physically demanding job, must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Butchering experience: 1 year (preferred)
Responsibilities:
Be organised and able to work in a clean and safe manner.
Able to work safely with knives, hand tools and utensils.
Cut, grind, and prepare meats.
Clean and maintain tools and equipment and ensuring displays and signage are accurate.
Keep records and inventory.
Perform quality inspections on meats and other products.
Adhere to food safety and sanitation controls.
Coordinate deliveries or orders.
Will have to lift heavy items.
Knowledge of meat preparation techniques and cuts.
