Mon-Fri, 8am-4pm, with occasional weekend functions.
Amazing opportunity for a General Manager has become available at this café, self service restaurant concept on the outskirts of Oxford. The unit is part of a small, Oxford group with a quality reputation for food, drink and hospitality. The café/restaurant has been carefully renovated to create a really quirky eating & meeting space for the businesses that surround it. The menu features artisan type dishes, lots of fresh salad, local meet & cheeses and they also have featured days. As well as the normal lunch & breakfast service, they also offer meeting space and function hire. The restaurant is predominantly open from 8am-4pm, Monday to Friday.
We are looking for a General Manager in Oxford that has extensive experience running a similar business/unit. You will be responsible for a team of 10 staff, including kitchen and will have full P&L responsibility. Recruitment, training and product development will also be your responsibility.
In addition to the daily running of the restaurant, you will also be the point of contact for all meeting & event space enquiries, where you will assist with event bookings, catering requirememts and costings.
We are looking for a General Manager with strong product knowledge, business acumen and people management experience.
