Overview
To provide support by preparing and serving light lunch to the staff at our North East site. The successful candidate will also be required to carry out limited receptionist duties, such as greeting visitors and serving them refreshments. Previous kitchen experience is required.
Main Duties
– Greeting staff and visitors.
– Ensuring food hygiene standards during food preparation and cooking.
– Operating a coffee machine and serving tea and coffee to staff and visitors.
– Storing food in line with food standards to avoid any cross contamination.
– Serving customers and staff in our Bar area when required.
– Ensuring personal hygiene is maintained through appropriate hand washing.
– Cash handling.
– Ensuring the depots ‘Appropriate Bar Usage’ Policy is always adhered to and raising any concerns.
– Cleaning down a small canteen area at the end of the working day.
– Order stock to ensure a smooth operation and no food shortages.
– Ensure that correct health and safety procedures are adhered to.
– To look presentable in the correct LWC Drinks uniform at all times.
Knowledge and Experience:
– Kitchen experience.
– Good time Management.
– Presentable appearance at all times.
– High levels of personal hygiene.
– Excellent communication and customer service skills.
– High standards and an attention to detail.
– Adherence to Food Safety Standards and Hygiene.
