Based: College Lake Visitor Centre, Tring
Here at the Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire Wildlife Trust (BBOWT), we are recruiting for two new Café Supervisors to join the visitor centre team at our stunning nature reserve at College Lake (Tring). Our small café serves a range of simple, home cooked items and we are always open to trying new ideas to broaden our offering.
One Supervisor will lead on Food Hygiene & People, one will lead on Stock Management. These are varied roles within a friendly and busy environment that include leading the team within the café as you serve customers and prepare food together, as well as the additional duties for which some ‘Non-Café’ time is allocated.
Successful applicants will have good interpersonal and communication skills. Being able to work well under pressure during busy periods is essential.
These roles will include working regular weekends (as per rota). Full training is provided but as these are both supervisory roles, we are looking for candidates with some café experience who are ready to take the next step into leading a team or looking to extend their existing experience at this level.
In return we offer generous annual leave entitlement, 3x life assurance, employee assistance programme, YuLife rewards package, cycle scheme, pension with generous employer contribution, and a thriving value driven culture.
We will accept applications for either role directly or for either if you do not have a preference.
Applications will be considered for interview on a rolling basis, so we would advise applying as early as possible. We reserve the right to close this vacancy early if we receive sufficient applications for the role.
Interviews will be held in person on a rolling basis at College Lake, Tring
