Canteen Supervisor/Cook

Salary : £9.01/hour
Major Recruitment are pleased to be working with a leading international automotive business with a large Factory in Baildon/Shipley. The business are seeking an experiences Catering Supervisor/Cook to join the team.
You will be at the heart of our operation and we are looking for an individual who share our energy and passion about food. This is a hands-on, operational kitchen role, all about leading and supporting a team, using high quality produce to prepare and deliver good quality, hearty meals for our Associates here on site.
As a Catering Supervisor/ Cook , your responsibilities will be:
* To be polite, professional and friendly at all times with customers, contractors and colleagues
* Demonstrating a can-do attitude towards individual customer requests and strive to exceed customer expectations
* Accepting payment and give change to customers, including operating a till
* Actively gaining customer feedback, passing information gained to make sure you are aware of, and meet the legal and Company requirements for fire, safety, health and hygiene
* Promoting good hygiene safety habits and methods of work
* Serving customers with hot and cold food and beverages on a counter during service times
* Ensuring all displays, counters and seating areas comply with company and statutory health and hygiene requirements
* Working as part of the catering team, the Catering Supervisor will have the responsibility for managing a great team in all aspects of our busy kitchen
* Stock control and handling orders
Experience ans skills required :
* All-round catering experience
* Good communication skills
* City & Guilds 706/1 level/NVQ Level II or have relevant experience
* Sound knowledge of Health & Safety
* Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
Working hours:
Monday-Thursday: 11am-2pm ,Friday:7am-11am
Some flexibility around start / finish times may be required during busy times / holidays.
Pay:
£9.01/hour
