Care Home Cook
Job Type : Temporary, Full Time
Salary : £13 – £14/hour
Atrium Recruitment are currently in search for an agency cook with previous experience within a care home setting. The successful candidate will have a passion and enthusiasm to serve delicious, home cooked meals for a range of service users with varying dietary requirements
The job role will entail the following tasks:
· Complete a food shop. (Site will confirm if needed)
· Planning a weekly hot food menu, to include a vegetarian/vegan option (must ask service users for opinions on meals they enjoy)
· Preparing delicious, high-quality food
· Listening and acting on feedback
· Kitchen cleaning responsibilities to maintain hygiene standards
· Complying with Food Handling, Hygiene and Health and Safety regulations
Skills and Experience:
· Experience working within a care home kitchen
· Working to a timed schedule
· Meeting all dietary requirements of service users
We are offering up to £14PH based on experience.
