SALARY: £20,227pa for the full-time role, £5,467pa for the part-time role
WORKING HOURS: Full time – 37 hours per week & Part time – 10hours per week (both 52 weeks per year)
Falconer’s Hill and The Abbey CE Academies are now recruiting for Caretakers to work on both sites. This role could be the ideal next step in your career.

About the role:
This is a key role within the school, to ensure there is a safe and legal environment for all students, staff and visitors. This is a hands on role, requiring a range of practical and DIY skills. IT skills would also be desirable – but training will be provided. The post holder will work closely with the Principals and Senior Leadership Teams to ensure a well maintained learning environment for our students.
There are two roles available, both working across the two school sites as required. Job share / part time / flexible working requests will be considered.
Who we are looking for
* Good numeracy, literacy and written and verbal communication skills
* Practical skills required for the role – Competent at basic building repairs and maintenance, ability to use industrial, electrical & mechanical equipment, ability to cope with the physical demands of the role
* Ability to understand and apply Health and Safety Regulations
* Be able to plan, manage and prioritise workload effectively, whilst remaining flexible to respond to urgent requests
* Enthusiastic and conscientious, proactive and flexible
* Ability to be flexible and work as part of a team or individually as required
* Have a sense of pride in caring for our schools and their surroundings
* Good, competent IT skills (training can be provided if required)
