As a Nursery Caretaker/cleaner, you will be responsible for:
-The daily set up and pack up of the nursery furniture and equipment
-The daily maintenance of the nursery grounds, Cleaning and Health & Safety
– The daily cleaning of the nursery during the day including lunch and breakfast dishes, sweeping and mopping the floors, toilets, offices and communal areas.
-Minor maintenance repairs such as, Carpentry, Plumbing, Electrical and Painting
-Taking deliveries (may require lifting heavy items)
Requirements for the Caretaker/Cleaner
You will:
• Have previous experience in a similar role
• Be calm and supportive, positively assertive and have a flexible approach to your
work
• Be organised and be prepared to work outdoors
• Be physically fit as you will be required to lift heavy items
• Have a good command of spoken and written English
• Have clear DBS and references for the past 10 years
Working hours of the Caretaker/Cleaner
Mon – Fri 5 hrs a day
• You must have the legal right to work in the UK
• This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
• Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained.
